Double shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 'critically wounded' in St. Paul
St. Paul police are looking for possible witnesses to a Friday night shooting that left one person dead and another with life-threatening injuries.
It happened shortly before 7 p.m. at an apartment building on the 1200 block of Westminster Street, which is located in the city's Payne-Phalen neighborhood.

Despite lifesaving measures, paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
A short time later, the release says, officers learned that a second victim showed up at Regions Hospital with an apparent gunshot wound. As of Friday night, he was in surgery with "life-threatening injuries."
No arrests have been made yet. Few other details about the case have been released, but "investigators do not think this was a random act."
