A driver had to be extricated from their vehicle after slamming into multiple parked cars in a crash that left the SUV turned on its roof Tuesday evening.
According to Minneapolis police spokesperson John Elder, drugs or alcohol may have factored in the crash.
"One vehicle struck some parked cars and rolled over. Single occupant was the driver who had to be extricated by the fire department," Elder said in an email.
The driver, who has not been identified, was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicle landed on its roof in the middle of Washington Ave. outside The Freehouse, which is located at 701 N. Washington Ave.
