Driver dies after crashing into back of farm equipment
A driver was killed when he hit a tractor that had just pulled out from a field in central Minnesota on Saturday night.
The crash at 10:10 p.m. saw a 62-year-old man from Darwin, Minnesota colliding with a planter the tractor was pulling.
His Ford Escape struck the planter on the rear right side as he drove north on Highway 15, near 180th Street in Collinwood Township – about 50 miles west of the Twin Cities.
The tractor had just pulled onto the highway, the state patrol says.

It was being operated by a 56-year-old man from nearby Dassel, who was uninjured in the crash.
The victim's name is expected to be released by authorities on Sunday afternoon.
