Driver dies after crashing into tree in southern Minnesota town
A 27-year-old woman died in single-vehicle crash in far southern Minnesota early Sunday morning.
The State Patrol crash report says the accident happened around 2:40 a.m. when Yomari R. Rosado, of Fairmont, crashed a 2012 Dodge Durango into a tree in Fairmont.
She was traveling north on Prairie Ave. and crossed over E. Blue Earth Ave. before striking the tree.
The report says Rosado wasn't wearing a seat belt and she died at the scene. Alcohol was involved in the crash, the State Patrol said.
Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
