Driver ejected in fatal crash on Interstate 35E in White Bear Township

The victim was not wearing a seat belt, the State Patrol reports.

One person was killed in a crash in the northeast metro area Monday morning. 

The single-vehicle crash happened at approximately 6:26 a.m. in White Bear Township, with the Minnesota State Patrol reporting that a 2019 Honda CRV was traveling northbound on I-35E went it went off the road at County Road H2. 

The Honda then hit a cement sound barrier post, ejecting the driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver has been identified as Leslie Katherine Goodale, 50, of Minneapolis.

The State Patrol notes that she was not wearing a seat belt.
