A man was killed in a crash in west-central Minnesota on Tuesday morning.

The crash report from the Minnesota State Patrol says the two-vehicle collision happened around 10 a.m. on Hwy. 210 near County Rd. 23 in Stowe Prairie Township, which is located about 10 miles south of Wadena in Todd County.

The report says a 2003 Buick LeSabre driven by 88-year-old Joseph Henry Stroderl, of Bertha, was northbound on County Rd. 23 and failed to yield at Hwy. 210. That's when his car made contact with a 2004 Ford Expedition.

Stroderl's vehicle wound up on its roof in the ditch, and he did not survive his injuries.

The driver of the Expedition, a 44-year-old woman from Eagle Bend, Minnesota, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
