Drug task force seizes 400 marijuana plants west of Twin Cities
Authorities in Wright County have seized more than 400 marijuana plants and arrested two people following a raid on Wednesday.
Several pounds of harvested marijuana, which was vacuum sealed and ready for sale, was also found during the raid at a house in Cokato, about an hour west of Minneapolis.
Two individuals were arrested by the CEE-VI Drug and Task Gang Force, who were joined by Wright County deputies and agents from the DEA for the raid.
The Wright County Sheriff's Office says it's the second large-scale indoor marijuana growing operation found in the Dassel-Cokato area in the past year.
Last May, the drug task force and DEA raided another operation, seizing 1,400 plants being grown in the city of Dassel.
