Duluth man accused of tossing Molotov cocktails off store roof
A 21-year-old Duluth man was arrested Tuesday night, accused of throwing two Molotov cocktails from the roof of the Shanty Bottle Shop in Duluth, the News Tribune reported.
Police said two witnesses saw the man throw the devices at about 11 p.m. Police said the man had been depressed. They said he didn’t want to hurt anyone, so he threw the devices when there were no people or cars below. He had not been drinking, police said.
Police found a 5-gallon gas can and cut-up rags at the man's home. He had placed his cell phone some keys in the gas can, police said.
