Early morning explosion levels house in Isanti County, nobody was home at the time

Turkey hunters getting ready to go Friday morning heard two blasts.

A home was destroyed by an explosion early Friday morning in Isanti County. 

According to the Isanti County Sheriff's Office, dispatchers received a 911 call at 4:31 a.m. from turkey hunters who heard two explosions near Princeton in east-central Minnesota. 

Once on the scene, deputies found a house at 5800 317th Ave. NW in Spencer Brook Township completely leveled and on fire. 

Fortunately, no one was home at the time and there were no injuries.

The cause of the explosion is being investigated.
