Police in Eden Prairie are investigating two armed robbery incidents involving masked suspects that happened just three days apart.

The first was reported at 10:26 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, when two masked individuals entered a home in the 14000 block of Golf View Drive.

One pointed a gun at a male resident and then fired the gun inside the home, before the pair fled in a silver vehicle. Nobody was injured and nothing was taken.

Then, at 11:13 p.m. on Saturday, five individuals wearing masks approached a woman in a parking lot at the Shadow Green Apartments in 14223 Valley View Road.

They had exited an older gray car car shortly before approaching her, with one of them pointing a gun at her and demanding her wallet, while the other demanded her phone.

She had neither on her, so they fled with her car keys.

Police are investigating whether the incidents are related. Anyone with information about the incidents, or anyone who has witnessed suspicious activity, should call 952-949-6200.
