Eden Prairie man dies 6 days after crash in Minnetonka

The crash happened Aug. 2 around 8:45 a.m.

An Eden Prairie man died Thursday from injuries suffered in a crash six days earlier, according to a release from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office. 

Details about the crash have not been released by police, but the two-vehicle collision happened around 8:45 a.m. Aug. 2 on Boulder Creek Drive at Townline Road in Minnetonka. 

The motorist who died six days after the crash has been identified as Douglas Bruce Lind, 76, of Eden Prairie. 

He died Aug. 8 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, with the medical examiner saying his death was caused by complications of head injuries sustained in the crash.  

According to the Minnesota Department of Traffic Safety, there have been 202 deaths on Minnesota roads so far in 2019, up from 199 at the same point in 208.
