An Edina man who was reported missing Wednesday has been found dead.

William Landgren, 73, had last been seen early Wednesday morning near the 6100 block of Brookview Ave., according to the City of Edina.

The city sent out a missing person alert, noting that the 6-foot-tall man walked with a shuffle and was last known to be wearing brown pants and a navy-blue pullover.

Just after 8:30 p.m., the city announced that Landgren's body had been found. Foul play is not suspected. Details about where he was found have not been released.

"The Edina Police Department thanks you and the public for their help and extends its deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Landgren," a release from the city said.
