The son of disgraced former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was arrested in Fargo on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, the Fargo Forum reports.

Jon Sandusky, 36, is director of player personnel for the Cleveland Browns and was on a scouting trip in Fargo at North Dakota State University, Forum reports.

Police say Sandusky, of Strongsville, Ohio, made an illegal turn at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday and was pulled over, Forum reported. An officer determined he had been drinking and Sandusky failed field sobriety tests. He was booked and posted bail, and a court hearing had not immediately been scheduled.

ESPN reported that Sandusky was cooperative but refused to take a blood test. NDSU's athletic department declined to comment, and Sandusky could not be reached for comment, ESPN said.

"We're aware of the situation and currently working to gather facts," Browns spokesman Zak Gilbert told The Associated Press.

Sandusky's father, Jerry Sandusky, 69, a former assistant coach under Penn State legend Joe Paterno, was sentenced to between 30 and 60 years in prison last year after being convicted of sexually abusing 10 boys over 15 years.
