Family concerned for missing man who may need medical attention

Authorities are looking for a man who has a condition that requires medical attention, who disappeared from his home in New Prague, Minnesota.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued an appeal on behalf of New Prague police to find 31-year-old Anthony James Slavik.

New Prague chief of police Jim Gareis told BringMeTheNews Slavik was at home on Saturday when members of his family left, and when they came back later on he was nowhere to be found. He has not been seen since, nor has he contacted his family.

He is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 145 pounds., with blue eyes and brown hair. He is thought to have left in his red 2000 Jeep Cherokee with Minnesota plate TM588.

"He has a condition requires medical intervention and his family and the authorities are concerned for his welfare," the BCA press release said.
