Update – 9.20 a.m.

Police have arrested the two parents who went missing along with their two children.

Lakeville PD announced Tuesday morning, shortly after the family was found safe and well in a car in Minneapolis, that Zachariah Wilson, 38, and Angela Robinson, 33, have been booked into Dakota County Jail for probable cause child endangerment.

At this stage, they have not been charged with anything.

They were reported missing along with their two boys, aged 7 and 4, by Wilson's mother, after he failed to pick her up from work on Thursday.

Lakeville PD said it is still investigating the circumstances surrounding their disappearance, revealing that their car was found behind a building on the 2800 block of 26th Ave. S. with all four of them inside.

Lakeville Police Chief Jeff Long thanked the public and other agencies for their help.

Original story

A Lakeville family missing for four days were found alive and well in their car by Minneapolis police in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) put out a public appeal on Monday to find 38-year-old Zach Wilson, 33-year-old Angela Robinson and their two boys, aged 7 and 4, who had not been seen since Thursday or heard from since Friday.

They were traveling in a 2015 Toyota Camry which, Minneapolis police told GoMN, was found by officers in south Minneapolis at 3:12 a.m. Tuesday, with all four family members inside.

Spokesperson Sgt. Catherine Michal said the officers were responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 2800 block of 26th Avenue S, and realized it was the missing Camry when they ran the plates.

The Star Tribune reports the car initially took off as police approached, but officers stopped it a short distance away. Lakeville Police Department was called to the scene shortly after.

Sgt. Michal said it's unknown as this stage what they had been doing since they went missing.

The Minnesota BCA said Wilson had borrowed his mother's car on Thursday, telling her he would pick her up from work later that day, but never did.

He called her on Friday morning saying he would be back in a few hours, but was not heard from after that.

KARE 11 reports that the family was taken to a police station. All four are safe and uninjured.
