One person was killed after a three-vehicle crash on the Lowry Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis early Monday morning.
The incident was reported at 5:19 a.m., with police and fire arriving at the crash scene at Lowry Avenue NE and Marshall Street NE to find one of the vehicles involved fully engulfed in flames.
Two other vehicles involved were damaged, with one person pronounced dead at the scene.
It's believe that one vehicle westbound on Lowry collided with another southbound vehicle on Marshall. After those two collided, one of them spun and struck an eastbound vehicle on Lowry.
Minneapolis police notes that the crash happened at the intersection, which is controlled by stop lights.
Details of the victim are not available at this stage.
As of 10 a.m., the bridge was still closed for crash investigation.
