Fatal crash under investigation in west-central Minnesota
At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in west-central Minnesota on Tuesday.
The fatal collision happened around 10:39 a.m. at the intersection of Hwy. 210 and Hwy. 71 in Todd County, near the Town of Hewitt.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2016 Toyota Scion was going east on Hwy. 210 and collided with a 2008 Audi A6 that was northbound on Hwy. 71. The State Patrol has not released details about injuries or deaths, only saying that it was a fatal crash.
There were two people in the Toyota: A 60-year-old man from Fergus Falls who was driving, and a 80-year-old Fergus Falls woman.
In the Audi was a 36-year-old female driver from Bertha, Minnesota, and a 1-year-old girl.
The Todd County Sheriff's Office, Hewitt Ambulance and Tri-County Ambulance responded to the crash.
More details are expected to be released Wednesday afternoon.
