Fatal shootings in Minneapolis continue with 1 killed Tuesday

The latest deadly shooting happened on the city's North Side.

Police are investigating another deadly shooting in Minneapolis, this time on the city's North Side in the Webber-Camden neighborhood. 

According to Minneapolis police spokesperson John Elder, the gunfire was reported just after 6:15 p.m. on the 4100 block of Aldrich Ave. N. 

Police later found out that the shooting victim had been transported to North Memorial Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. 

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. 

The latest killing came just hours after Hennepin County Sheriff Dave Hutchinson said the violence "has to stop." 

According to Minneapolis police, since the day George Floyd was killed while in police custody (May 25) there had been 111 people shot and seven murders as of midday Tuesday.
