Police responding to a reported suicide arrived to find a father and son both suffering gunshot wounds that would prove fatal.

Rochester police say they were called to a home on the 1500 block of 8th Avenue Northwest just before 4 p.m. Monday, where they found an 18-year-old man wounded.

While searching the house, they also found a 61-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

Both were treated at the scene, but neither could be revived and were pronounced dead at the scene.

"The deceased subjects are father and son, and both live at the address," Rochester PD said.

More information is expected to be released on Tuesday, but police believe there's no further danger to the public.
