Father, son dead in apparent domestic shooting incident in Brooklyn Center

An apparent domestic incident in Brooklyn Center overnight ended with the shooting deaths of a father and son, KARE 11 reports.

According to authorities, police were called to the area of 72nd Avenue North and Fremont Avenue North and found two men dead and a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police told KARE that the woman appears to be the son's mother.

Authorities tell WCCO-TV that the incident appears to be murder-suicide that stemmed from fight between the father and son.

Police say the son shot the father and went downstairs in the residence to take his own life.

The woman was shot in the arm and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, authorities say.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
