A 39-year-old Rochester woman was arrested by the FBI Thursday morning, and she is now facing pending charges related to the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. in January.

Victoria White is due to make her first appearance in federal court Thursday, though the charges filed against her remain under seal.

She was arrested by FBI Minneapolis special agents, with the federal department saying her arrest is related to "criminal acts at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021."

She is the second Minnesotan to be arrested in connection to the insurrection. On Mar. 19, the FBI announced that a 31-year-old Moorhead man was arrested for trespassing on Jan. 6.

All charges filed against persons accused of criminal acts at the U.S. Capitol during the D.C. riots are prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.

The insurrection attempt saw a large crowd of supporters of former President Donald Trump break into the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to stop the Senate from certifying the results of President Joe Biden's election victory.

Bring Me The News will provide more details when charging documents are released.
