Female student injured, another arrested after stabbing at Bloomington school

A female student is in custody, with another in a hospital.

An arrest has been made after a stabbing involving two students at a Bloomington high school on Tuesday.

Bloomington PD says it's on the scene at Thomas Jefferson High School in response to a fight, with one student – a female – taken to Fairview Southdale hospital.

Another female student was taken into custody.

The incident unfolded about noon, with a dispute between the two students escalating.

KSTP reports the injured student suffered multiple stab wounds, though she was brought to the hospital in a "fair" condition.
