A Fergus Falls man was sentenced to five years in prison Wednesday for a felony DWI conviction. WDAY-TV reports 62-year-old Richard Papenfuss has over 20 DWI arrests on his record and has already served prison time for a previous felony DWI conviction.

In the Twin Cities, a Plymouth woman was arrested Thursday morning for probable cause DWI. WCCO says in 2010, 22-year-old Taylor Hohmann was convicted of criminal vehicular homicide after hitting and killing Mike Rymer, a father of three, and leaving the scene.

The Pioneer Press reported last week, a statewide DWI crackdown resulted in more than 1,800 arrests from Aug. 17 through Sept. 3.
