A fire damaged a home in St. Paul where less than a day earlier a man was shot dead.
The St. Paul Police Department say the fire was reported at the property on Lawson Avenue East at 11 a.m., just 90 minutes after the crime scene processing at the home was completed.
It comes after a man was shot dead at the home around 4 p.m. Saturday, with nobody arrested as of Sunday afternoon in connection with the killing.
St. Paul PD spokesman Mike Ernster on Saturday said that there had been around 170 911 calls to the Lawson house during 2020.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation along with the shooting.
