An overnight fire has damaged a restaurant and pavilion on Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis.
The Minneapolis Fire Department says it was called to Lola on the Lake, on East Calhoun Parkway at the northeast shore of the lake, at around 4:20 a.m. to find the building fully alight.
The bulk of the fire had been knocked down a short time later, with no victims or injuries reported.
While the building might not be a total loss, the pavilion's roof collapsed during the course of the blaze.
KARE 11's Kiya Edwards reports that fire investigations are considering the possibility the fire was caused by lightning during the overnight storm, with someone nearby saying they heard a "boom."
Lola on the Lake opened on Bde Maka Ska last year, taking over the pavilion space previously home to Tin Fish.
