A fire at a shed in a central Minnesota junk yard caused damage valued at $800,000.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office was called to Tom's Refuse at 38164 Thunder Road in Millwood Township at 10:51 p.m. on Thursday.

Keith Frank, 58, a resident of Pequot Lakes, was staying in a camper near the shed when he lost power.

As he went to check on the electrical breaker system, he noticed the shed in the junk yard was on fire.

The shed and its contents were heavily damaged, with the exact cause of the fire unknown.

Nobody was injured in the fire, which is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office.
