Five teens suspected in armed robbery near University of Minnesota

A group of teenage boys are suspected of committing an armed robbery near the University of Minnesota's Minneapolis campus.

The incident happened at 2 a.m. Saturday near South 26th Avenue and South 7th Street near the West Bank campus, according to a safety advisory from the University of Minnesota.

According to the U, a group of five male suspects aged between 14 and 16 "pointed guns at victims and robbed them."

The suspects fled the area on foot and were last seen moving towards Riverside Park.

The incident is being investigated by the Minneapolis Police Department.
