Four injured in Minneapolis shooting, one critical after separate stabbing

Those injured in the shooting are expected to recover.

Four men were shot in Minneapolis Friday evening, while in another incident a man was critically wounded in a stabbing.

The stabbing happened at 5:50 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Ave. S., with the suspect fleeing before police arrived.

The victim was taken to HCMC with life-threatening injuries.

Just over an hour later, police were alerted to shots fired in the 2400 block of Irving Avenue N.

Police arrived to find 4 men with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. They were all taken to local hospitals.

The suspects fled before police arrived.
