More details are emerging about Anarae Schunk, a 20-year-old University of Minnesota student who remains missing following a fatal shooting of a man this weekend in Burnsville, the Star Tribune reports.

Schunk is the ex-girlfriend of a 31-year-old man from Eagan who is accused of shooting and killing Palagor Obang Jobi, 23, of Savage, in the parking lot of Nina's Grill 2 a.m. Sunday.

The woman was last seen on surveillance video entering the bar with the suspect. Her brother, Owen Schunk, tells Fox 9 that the interaction between the two in the video seemed "cordial."

"They came out of the door," Owen Schunk said. "He's opening the door, she's in front of him. They're not shaking hands, holding hands, engaging in any sort of contact --it seems cordial, but non-telling."

Schunk's best friend Wednesday told the Star Tribune that Schunk broke up with the suspect about a year ago, but was afraid of him and felt he was "almost watching over her" and "always kind of knew where he was."

The friend, Sarah Chacos, also told the paper that Schunk lent $5,000 to the suspect while they were still together, and Schunk was determined to get the money back from him.

The suspect is currently being held at the Dakota County Jail under an assumed name. Authorities says he has a lengthy criminal record and has about 10 names and aliases.

A second suspect, a 24-year-old woman from Roseville, is also in custody.

Authorities say a private citizen is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to Schunk. She is described as white, about 5 foot 9 and 165 pounds, with green eyes and brown-blonde hair.

Police say a volunteer search has not yet been organized, because it may compromise evidence in the case, Fox 9 reports.

Meanwhile, a Facebook page, Please Help Find Anarae Schunk, has been set up by friends.
