Friends and family members are mourning the deaths of two south metro teenagers killed in a rollover crash in Burnsville Tuesday afternoon, KARE 11 reports. The victims, 16-year-old Fred Alexander of Burnsville and 17-year-old Alesha Roehl of Northfield, were riding with four other friends down Buck Hill Road when the driver lost control of the car, rolled down an embankment and landed on I-35.

"I never thought he'd die so young," Cody McKinnon, a friend of Alexander told the television station.

Alexander's sister, Gabby McClenny, told FOX9 that she didn't need an accident report to tell her what happened. "Playing around with friends, reckless driving, no seatbelt -- and they went off the road," she said.

"This shouldn't have happened," Tristen Dahlstrom, a senior at Lakeville South High School, told FOX9. "Stupid things like this -- it could have been prevented."
