Police are hunting the person behind a double shooting that left a 24-year-old man and his 5-year-old daughter wounded.

The incident happened near a boat launch at Ramsey Beach at White Bear Lake County Park, with the father calling police en route as he drove to hospital for treatment.

His daughter suffered serious injuries after she was shot. The father has a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

At the moment, no information about any suspect or suspects have been made available.

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office is appealing for information about the shooting, which happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
