Missing dog GoGo found dead in owner's stolen vehicle 3 days later

The vehicle was reported stolen with GoGo inside on July 18

A German Shepherd-Husky who was in her owner's car when it was stolen has been found dead in the vehicle three days later.

GoGo was in a black Subaru Outback near Payne and Sims avenues in St. Paul  Saturday, the city's police department had said. Around 4:45 p.m. the Outback was stolen, with GoGo still inside the car.

Police asked residents to keep an eye out for the Subaru and GoGo, posting an appeal for information to their Facebook page.

"We'd love to find both," the department said.

Unfortunately, GoGo's owner received devastating news.

The stolen Outback was located Tuesday afternoon on the 1000 block of N. Ryde Street, about 4 miles west of where the car had been taken.

GoGo, sadly, was deceased and still in the vehicle.

The police department said no arrests have been made but they are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call 651-291-1111.
