Gold Medal flour recalled by General Mills due to salmonella threat

It's a national recall for specific 5-pound bags.

There haven't been any confirmed reports of illness, but General Mills has issued a voluntary national recall of Gold Medal Unbleached Flour due to a concerns of possible salmonella contamination. 

The specific flour in the recall is: 

Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose 5LB Flour
Package UPC 000-16000-19610-0
Recalled Better if Used by Date 20APR2020KC

All other types of Gold Medal flour are good to use. 

Bags of the possibly contaminated flour should be thrown out and not used. Customers can call General Mills at 1-800-230-8103 or visit GeneralMills.com/Flour for more information. 

Symptoms of salmonella include: fever, diarrhea (possibly bloody), nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain.
