After a few days of creepy robot quotes and teases, 96.3 FM in the Twin Cities unveiled its new format Monday afternoon.

The station – formerly known as K-TWIN – is now Go Minnesota, or on Twitter, Go963MN.

The rebranded station's Twitter page pitches itself as: "Where modern music is going. Go Music. Go Twins. Go Different."

This is the first tweet it sent out.

There is also a not-very-active-yet Facebook page for the station.

Radio Insight reports the station will emphasize current music, with local and independent artists mixed in.

The first track was Robert DeLong, an American electronic musician. That was followed by tracks from Walk the Moon, then Cage the Elephant.

Some early reactions:

And of course, no matter what the music is, there are those who will miss what came before.
