Former NFL wide receiver Greg Jennings criticized Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy on Wednesday for the team's lack of playoff success with two-time MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

"I’m just going to flat-out say it: If we had a lead, our issue wasn’t the defense, it was Mike McCarthy," Jennings said on Fox Sports' Undisputed program. "McCarthy would cuff us. When you watch New England play, when they have a lead, they go for your throat; they don’t relax."

Although the Packers captured a Super Bowl in 2011, McCarthy has produced a playoff record of 10-8 in his 11 seasons in Green Bay. But since winning the Lombardi Trophy in 2011, the team has won just five of their last 11 playoff games.

The most notable loss was in 2014 when the Packers blew a 16-0 lead in the NFC Championship Game to the Seattle Seahawks.

Jennings spent seven seasons in Green Bay, where he topped 1,000 yards receiving three times. He spent two years with the Vikings from 2013-14 and the 33-year-old still resides in Minnesota after retiring from the NFL following the 2015 season.

This isn't the first time Jennings has throw shade at Green Bay either. In 2013, he ripped Rodgers for his leadership qualities but Jennings ended up apologized for the incident and said it's all in the past.
