According to the organization, the current record of 47 feet, 3 inches was set at a restaurant in Chicago last year.
Wisconsin grills up bratwurst controversy
Prescott, Wis., got a fair amount of media coverage when it cooked a 52-foot bratwurst earlier this month. But the folks in Dallas, Wis., say they have been grilling a much longer one for four years straight. This year's was 135 feet – three times as long as that little sausage in Prescott. "I feel the need to say something," one of the Dallas grillers said.
