All hands on deck are needed for the Vikings as they fight for their playoff lives Saturday against the Green Bay Packers. If they lose, they're dead. If they win, they're still dead unless Tampa Bay loses, too.

Good news came Friday though when free safety Harrison Smith was practicing for the first time since hobbling out of U.S. Bank Stadium in a walking boot after suffering a badly sprained ankle Dec. 1 against the Cowboys.

Will he play Saturday? Smith isn't telling, according to reports from Winter Park.

Minnesota's official injury report comes out this afternoon. Stefon Diggs and Laquon Treadwell returned to practice today after sitting out Wednesday. Brandon Fusco is still out with a concussion and Adrian Peterson was still out with knee/groin injuries.

The Packers, meanwhile, could be hampered with some hefty injuries to key outside linebackers Clay Matthews, Nick Perry and Jayrone Elliott. All of them could play, but if they do they'll likely be limited, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette.
