Here comes the brrrride: Couple weds outdoors

It figures that a Dayton, Minn., couple who starting dating on a Jan. 1 and got engaged on a Jan. 1 would marry on Jan. 1.

But the location for the ceremony made less sense: outdoors, in single-digit weather in Prior Lake.

KARE 11 reports that Ryan Hoffman and Nikki Hering chose to embrace the winter date – and winter climate – for their wedding. They were married Tuesday afternoon outside at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club, as more than 100 guests huddled under blankets and then made their way indoors for the reception, KARE reports.
