Here's how that MN couple did on ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight

Trent and Ryan Kasper-Cook had more than 17,000 lights on their house.

The Minnesota couple that was on ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight (spoilers incoming) didn't win – but they're being really good sports about it.

Trent and Ryan Kasper-Cook of Minnetrista had more than 17,000 lights on their house and tons of visual effects to go along with them – all operated by a computer program. There is no denying it took a lot of work, with both guys popping thousands of tiny Christmas lightbulbs into a net, by hand.

Unfortunately, they were not selected as the winners of the show, and had to deal with another family getting the $50,000 prize and coveted "light fight" trophy.

Al and Esther Thompson from Glen Allen, Virginia, beat the Minnesota couple. They also knocked off a New Jersey family and a Canadian family with more than 170,000 lights and all homemade decorations, according to the Richmond Times.

Winning was not priority for the Kasper-Cooks, who simply wanted to inspire others interested in the festive hobby, as they were inspired after watching last years season of show, the couple said in a Facebook post.

If you missed the show last night, watch it on ABC's website by signing in to your TV provider account (or wait a week to watch it without signing in).

You can still visit the Kasper-Cooks' Christmas display daily from 6:30p.m. until 8:30p.m. (it goes until 9:30p.m. on Friday and Saturday) up through Christmas day. The show is 10 minutes long and starts every half-hour. Here's how to get there:
