Minneapolis police ask for help to locate missing man in need of meds

Authorities are asking the public to dial 911 if they see Aadan Muuse Abdilahi.

Minneapolis police are hoping an appeal to the public will help bring a missing man home.

On Saturday night, the department's Facebook account reported that 56-year-old Aadan Muuse Abdilahi hadn't been seen or heard from since Friday night.

His last-known location was on the 3200 block of Park Avenue South, a residential area near the Powderhorn neighborhood:

Adding to the urgency is the fact that Abdilahi is in need of medication.

Abdilahi is six feet tall and weighs about 210 pounds. Aside from those few details, little is known about the circumstances of his disappearance.

If you have any information on his current whereabouts, you're urged to call 911.
