Highway 10 in Elk River re-opens after crash knocks down power lines, stoplights still out

Major delays are ongoing in Elk River after a crash knocked down power lines early Monday morning. 

The crash closed eastbound Hwy. 10 at 171st Ave. in the 6 a.m. hour, but it was re-opened around 7:15 a.m.

The City of Elk River is reporting that stoplights in the area aren't working and major delays are expected to continue this morning. 

As of 7:30 a.m., eastbound Hwy. 10 traffic is stop-and-go from just west of the Hwy. 169 interchange, while southbound Hwy. 169 traffic is jammed all the way back to Jackson Ave. NW. There also appears to multiple crashes near the interchange.
