Santa Claus has returned to the Twin Cities early this year, two weeks before Black Friday. Fox 9 reports Santa officially arrived at the Mall of America on Thursday and will stay through Dec. 24.

Deloitte’s 27th annual holiday survey shows shoppers in the Twin Cities plan to spend roughly $430 on gifts this year. That’s about three percent more on gifts than last year and 10 percent more than the national average.
