Winona police are on the lookout for a man accused of stealing from a Winona bar after claiming he was a state gambling inspector. The suspect, described as about 45 years old, 225 pounds with a scruffy, gray beard and no mustache, walked into Cheater’s Bar and Lounge Thursday to review the bar's charitable pull tab collections -- and eventually walked away with them, police said.

OccupyMN protesters occupy foreclosed home

The TC Daily Planet is reporting some demonstrators connected to the OccupyMN movement have occupied a foreclosed home in north Minneapolis to keep the residents from being evicted. The protesters say they intend to stay in the home and in tents on the property until U.S. Bank agrees to renegotiate the mortgage. They say they will resist if authorities try to forcefully evict the residents.

The Minnesota Court of Appeals ruled prosecutors failed to prove a man broke any laws when he posted nude photos of his ex-girlfriend in the men's room of the Forest Lake store where she worked.
