Homicide investigation in St. Cloud following Wednesday shooting

A homicide investigation is underway in St. Cloud following a Wednesday morning shooting. 

According to St. Cloud Police Department, officers were dispatched to a building on the 4000 block of 24th St. S. just after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, arriving at the scene to find a victim who had been shot. 

Medical attention was immediately provided, but the victim died at the scene. The victim's identity has not been released. 

The shooter has not been identified but police investigators say the incident did not appear to be random and there is no threat to the general public. 

No further information has been released.
