Police say homicide is suspected in the death of a young man found in northern Minnesota Monday evening.
The discovery was made at a home in Cass Lake, Cass County, after police received an emergency call at 5:53 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a 19-year-old man dead at the scene.
An investigation was immediately launched, aided by the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
"Homicide is suspected as the cause of death and an autopsy is scheduled with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office," Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch said.
The victim's identity has not yet been revealed.
