All five hostages being held by an armed man at a Wells Fargo in St. Cloud have been released safely, and the suspect taken into custody.
The final hostage left the building 200 S. 33rd Ave. at around 10:30 p.m., with FBI agents then entering the building and apprehending the suspect.
It brought an end to a situation that commenced early Thursday afternoon, when a robbery was reported at the bank, and continued well into the evening as it emerged the suspect was holding several employees hostage.
Nobody was ultimately injured in the incident, with St. Cloud police officials due to release more details at an 11:30 p.m. press conference.
