This plane was fine when it took off, but all smashed up when it landed – How?!

Something definitely happened between Minneapolis and Chicago.

After losing to the Timberwolves Friday night in Minneapolis, the Oklahoma City Thunder boarded a Delta flight to Chicago for their next game.

Apparently everything was normal as they got on the plane. A team official told ESPN the flight was a little rough – nothing out of the ordinary – and it landed safely.

But the team noticed something really strange as they were getting off the plane: a giant dent in the aircraft's nose.

A Delta spokesperson told SportingNews, the plane "likely encountered a bird while on descent into Chicago."

Really? A bird can do all that?

Delta says maintenance teams are evaluating the plane.
