Human remains found in New York Mills identified as missing woman
Authorities have identified the human remains found near railroad tracks in New York Mills as a woman missing for almost 2 years.
A walker came across the skeletal remains in a wooded area near the Lund Boat Company on May 20.
On Tuesday, the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office identified the remains as those of Lynda Renae Meyer.
KFGO reports that she's also known as Lynda Oelrich, with family confirming to the radio station on Monday that it was her body found.

Meyer was 46 years old when she walked away from a treatment facility in New York Mills on July 23, 2016.
She was a resident of Fergus Falls at the time of her death. No foul play is suspected by police.
