Hunt for suspect in armed robbery of Northfield bank

Police in Northfield, Minnesota, are looking for information on a man who robbed a bank on Saturday.

The suspect struck in the morning at around 11:30 a.m., entering the Premier Bank at 1125 5th Street East and approaching a teller.

He flashed a handgun and demanded money, leaving a short time later on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Northfield Police Department released images of the suspect on Saturday, and wants anyone with information to come forward.

They say the suspect is armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.
