Hwy. 610 closed westbound near Maple Grove after box truck fire
The truck was leaking fuel.

Hwy. 610 is closed westbound at Elm Creek after a box truck rolled and caught fire on Thursday afternoon.
The crash was reported at around 4:30 p.m., with the westbound lanes closing north of Maple Grove.
Traffic cameras show plume of smoke rising from the well-developed fire.
WCCO Traffic reports that the truck was fully engulfed and that fuel leaked out of the tank and spilled onto the shoulder, before also catching fire.
Westbound traffic is being directed to the exit at Elm Creek Boulevard. It's not clear at this stage when the westbound lanes will re-open.
